John the Skeptic

We all face moments when our faith is tested, when God seems distant, and doubt begins to creep in. John the Baptist—one of Jesus’ closest followers—found himself in a prison cell, wondering if Jesus was really the Messiah after all. If John, the man Jesus called the greatest to ever live, experienced doubt? Then we are certainly not alone in our struggles. What do we do when our circumstances do not match our expectations of God?
